One of this weekend’s most delightful discoveries is tucked inside Eataly. Sugar & Sage has teamed up with the Italian eatery for a limited collaboration that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. Call it a Terra Takeover - a limited-time brunch experience. Weekends only through August 23rd. Mambo Miles has become one of the city’s signature summer traditions, bringing together thousands of runners and walkers for a morning that ends with live music, food trucks, a Tequila Garden, and—of course—a legendary Mambo Taxi. Even if you’re not running, the energy around Klyde Warren Park makes it worth experiencing.

One of Dallas’ favorite summer traditions returns to Klyde Warren Park this Saturday. The Mi Cocina Mambo Miles 5K combines a scenic downtown run with everything that makes Dallas weekends fun: community, live music, food trucks, and the iconic Mambo Taxi.

Registration has already sold out, but the post-race festivities and lively atmosphere make it worth stopping by if you’re already downtown. It’s the kind of event that captures Dallas at its best—active, social, and always ready for a celebration.

National Farmers Market Week makes an already wonderful destination even more worth visiting, with local farmers, artisan makers, seasonal produce, live music, chef demos, and the vibrant energy that makes this one of Dallas’ best weekend traditions.

If your ideal Saturday starts with fresh flowers, a great cup of coffee, and discovering something made close to home, this weekend is the perfect time to visit the Dallas Farmers Market.

Celebrate National Farmers Market Week while exploring local farms, artisan foods, chef demonstrations, live music, and more than 100 local vendors. Come early for the best selection, then linger over brunch or lunch in The Market food hall. It’s one of those simple Dallas traditions that’s always worth sharing.

Dallas has plenty of exceptional restaurants, but experiences like this are rare. Ebi Ayo is an intimate, chef-led supper club where every course is paired with storytelling, culture, and connection. With only two Dallas seatings and limited reservations, it’s exactly the kind of experience worth planning ahead for.

One of the most anticipated culinary experiences on my radar is making its Dallas debut later this month.

Chef Tayo Ola brings the traveling Ebi Ayo Supper Club to Lo’ & Rosie Creative Studio in Oak Cliff for two intimate evenings on August 21 and 22. Named for the Yoruba words Ebi (family) and Ayo (joy), the experience features a six-course menu inspired by Nigerian heritage, paired cocktails, and an evening designed around storytelling, hospitality, and shared conversation.

With just two Dallas dinners and limited seating, this is one I’d reserve sooner rather than later.
