Why I Created Dallas Curated

I didn't grow up in Dallas.
I chose it.
I arrived as an SMU student in 1991, thinking I was simply coming here for college. More than three decades later, Dallas became home—not because of a single neighborhood, but because I've spent years discovering the character, history, and people that make this city extraordinary.
Before real estate, I built a career creating experiences around the world. Producing events taught me that the smallest details often shape the biggest memories. I've always believed the best places reveal themselves slowly, and the most meaningful homes are part of a neighborhood's story—not just its address.. I'm drawn to neighborhoods with a story, homes with character, restaurants that become institutions, and the subtle qualities that make one block feel entirely different from the next.
Dallas Curated was born from a simple belief:
Choosing where to live shouldn't start with a ZIP code. It should start with understanding how you want to live.
Whether you're relocating across the country, moving across town, or simply looking to experience Dallas more intentionally, my hope is that this becomes a trusted resource—not just for finding a home, but for discovering the city itself.
Discover. Decide. Live Dallas.
